DAMAGED PACKAGES

We encourage customers to inspect all packages upon delivery. While transit can be rough on packages, it is acceptable for the cardboard box to have exterior damage. However, please ensure that the vacuum-sealed plastic bag containing the filament has no tears or large punctures. If the cardboard spool is bent or damaged beyond repair, please contact our support team for a replacement.

WRONG PRODUCTS

In the rare event that your package is mislabeled or another product is delivered, please contact our support team for assistance.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

We accept returns and exchanges on all unused and sealed items within 30 days of the purchase date, for iems that were purchased on overture3d.com or from an authorized seller. Items puchased from any other third-party distributor or seller must be returned through them. Exchanges must be for items of equal or lesser value only.

Your satisfaction is our priority. We stand behind the quality of our products and offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase within 30 days of the purchase date, please contact our support team. We will work with you to resolve any issues or provide a refund or exchange as needed.

The 30 Day Satisfaction guarantee does not cover the following: Any defect caused by:

  • Excessive wear and tear.
  • Abuse, neglect or improper use.
  • Items that have been attempted to repair.
  • Items purchased from an unauthorized reseller 
  • Items outside of the 30-day guarantee coverage period.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: The vacuum seal on my bag is lost. Is my material "wet" or impacted by moisture?

A: No need to worry! We include desiccant (silica gel) packs in every spool to counteract moisture during packaging and shipping.

Q: There's a tangle in my spool. How can I fix this issue?

A: Tangles may occur due to excess slack in the spool, particularly during loading or printing on filament spool holders. To resolve this, carefully identify and isolate the tangle. Pausing the print and removing the filament spool will make untangling easier. 

If there are multiple tangles or if you suspect a manufacturing error, please contact support.

Q: My filament isn't sticking to the print bed. What should I check?

A: Ensure your print bed is clean, level, and free of debris. Confirm that the bed and enclosure are at the correct operating temperature, and the Z-offset is accurate. The first layer should be slow with a proper "smush." Depending on part geometry, use slicer aids like a raft or brim to enhance bed adhesion. 

*Consider aftermarket accessories such as textured build plates, PEI sheets, hairspray, or glue sticks for better adhesion.

Q: My printed parts have stringing, blobs, and zits on the surface. What can I do?

A: Moisture can impact material performance and print quality. We recommend 3D printing enthusiasts invest in a filament dryer for all types of filament, not just ours, to enhance long-term storage practices and achieve superior printing results. Please refer to the “Drying Time” table for suggested drying times.

Q: I dried my filament, but I'm still experiencing stringing, blobs, and zits on the surface. Any suggestions?

A: Slicer settings such as retraction, cooling, temperature, speed, and seam location significantly impact print quality. Consult our print settings document or join our Discord for assistance.

Q: My filament is brittle and keeps snapping. What could be the issue?

A: Brittle filament is a sign of moisture absorption. We recommend drying the filament and storing it in an airtight bag or container. Please refer to the “Drying Time” table for suggested drying times.
